Client Project Finished.

I don’t think I’ve ever put so much effort in to one single thing in my whole life. The stress was pretty unbearable at times, especially with the last minute hickups. Now it’s all done and I’ve had a chance to reflect I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome. I’m proud of this piece of work, and my client was very pleased with it as well.

Last Minute Amendments

97% Completion. Nearly There.

I have my final client meeting this evening before hand in. What you see in the screens below is my nearly finished composition. I have a feeling changes will be suggested and they will be done on Wednesday and Thursday. For now here’s what I have.

Proxy Buildings and Volume

To fill out the scene some proxy buildings have been built. These are very low resolution and poly because they’ll never be seen up close, they’ll be sat in the background. Here are some shots of them (unlit), plus some volume effects for lights.

Uplighting

Up lighting, up-lighting, uplighting? I don’t know! But I made some at the request of my client…

Police Barrier

Today I have mostly been doing this…

Lots of minor tweaks!

After meeting Brad last night there are a huge amount of minor changes to be made to my client project. Many of these are quick and easy, some of them are more difficult and time consuming. I’ve been working at the easier ones this morning to get them out of the way. The images below are mainly for my client, but I felt it might be useful for others to see this.

Composing The Second City

Time is tight so pictures must suffice for now…

Lighting Test #1

My client has requested that I send over some lighting tests which will better represent the final product. Up until now all screen shots have had a simple directional light, mimicking sunlight. For the final hand in however I want something much more advanced. This is the first test.
